Cookie policy
There is not much to disclose here, because the site does not set cookies. This page explains why, and what third parties are involved.
What this site sets
This website sets no cookies of its own. There are no accounts, no preferences to remember and no sessions to track, so there is nothing for a cookie to hold. You can convert a file here without any data being written to your browser's cookie store by us.
The converters do use your browser's temporary memory while a file is being processed. That memory is cleared when you close or reload the tab, and it is not a cookie or any form of persistent storage.
Third parties that may set cookies
Two external resources are requested while you use the site:
- unpkg.com serves the FFmpeg WebAssembly engine that performs the conversion. It is a static file host and does not set cookies, though like any web server it can see your IP address when your browser requests a file.
- Analytics, where enabled, is configured to count visits without cookies and without identifying individual users.
If advertising is introduced to this site in future, the advertising provider may set cookies under its own policy. Where the law requires it, you would be asked for consent before those cookies were set, and this page would be updated to name the provider before any such change took effect.
Managing cookies
Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies from its settings or privacy menu. Because this site does not depend on cookies, blocking them entirely will not affect any converter here.
